The Power of Pablo Newsletter

Hey, it’s been a while! We wanted to check in to let you know all of the exciting news we have had in recent months because of your support.

As a result of our fundraising efforts through the Power of Pablo Art Show this past March, we have been able to donate to and throw events with organizations that we believe truly make a difference.

This is what has been going on due to the Power of Pablo…

Youth Art Exchange
Pablo Painting Parties

For the past two months, we have partnered with Youth Art Exchange in San Francisco to host a monthly Pablo Painting Party for the community. These meetups are aimed to connect up-and-coming, professional, and aspiring artists to collaborate and learn together.

If you haven’t gotten the chance to join us yet and are in the area, our next meetup is on Saturday, August 20th at [X]Space in SF. Pull up and paint with us!

YMCA Skate Camp Sequoia Lake

In honor of pro skater and Pablo’s best friend Zane Timpson, we established the Zane Timpson Scholarship Fund at YMCA Skate Camp Sequoia Lake. This fund offers five full scholarships for financially deserving campers for a week-long session at a camp Zane was close to.

Shown above are some of our campers in front of Zane’s mural. We can’t wait to hear how camp went!

Brooklyn Skate Garden
Beach Clean-Up

Last week, we teamed up with Pansy Skate and Grindtime Skate Shop for a beach clean-up and skate session at Rockaway Beach in Brooklyn, NY. We love New York - so it’s important we keep it clean! We couldn’t be more appreciative of all of the volunteers who showed up and showed out to clean up, skate, and hang with us! A special thank you goes out to Garrett Guitterez, who lead this session on our end.

The PΓ‚BLΓ– Magazine
Is Available Now

If you couldn’t grab the PΓ‚BLΓ– Magazine from your local skate shop, don’t worry. You can purchase this 100-page magazine filled with never-before-seen artwork from Pablo, photos, and stories now on our website. A HUGE thank you to Skate Jawn and HUF for making this possible. You can also check out the Power of Pablo video here.
