The YMCA Skate Camp is a skateboarder’s paradise. Located beside the beautiful Sequoia Lake, The skate camp offers a unique connection to nature and camaraderie. For over thirty years, the YMCA Skate Camp program has offered a specialized summer camp experience in a fun and safe environment. There are a myriad of different opportunities to skate and create. A place where life long memories are made every day. It is a destination no skater would want to miss. They encompass all aspects of skateboarding culture including music, nature, art, DIY zine making, and most importantly- community.

San Francisco Skate Club strives to provide a safe, positive, and fun environment for youth of diverse backgrounds to pursue their passion or desire to skateboard, meet and form friendships with other young skaters, and learn from experienced skateboarders who are role models in the community. They believe in children’s creativity, individuality, and openness to learn new things. They nurture the ability to set goals and take risks in a safe environment. Above all else, they strive to ensure that everyone in our community feels accepted, respected, and appreciated.

Skate Like A Girl's mission is to to create an inclusive community by promoting confidence, leadership, and social justice through skateboarding. Their vision is to empower skaters, especially young women and/or trans people, to grow into strong, confident leaders who promote and implement social equity. We value experiential learning and civic participation, and Skate Like A Girl checks those boxes by providing opportunities to be involved in the skateboarding community. They have groups located in Seattle, Portland and the SF Bay Area.

Youth Art Exchange was a favorite spot of Pablo’s where he felt inspired to create, express himself, and connect with other artists.

Youth Art Exchange sparks a shared creative practice between professional artists and public high school students, furthering youth as leaders, thinkers, and artists in San Francisco. Their vision is that every public high school student in San Francisco will have access to meaningful, in-depth arts education that amplifies their voices.

Oaktown Jazz Workshops (OJW) promotes jazz music education among San Francisco Bay Area youth ages 10-18. OJW fills a critical gap left by inconsistent music programming in public schools and costly private music programs that are inaccessible to many low-income families.

OJW provides a space for youth to grow artistically, personally, and professionally by offering free, high quality music instruction and experiential musical training for young people who could not otherwise afford private music lessons or private music school.
